Getting to the Town and Country By Train

Amtrak

When taking the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, disembark either at San Diego Old Town, or at the Santa Fe Depot.  All Surfliner trains stop at the Santa Fe Depot, which is also the end of the line.  Select trains stop at Old Town which is slightly closer to the hotel.

At the Santa Fe Depot, cross the tracks to the Green Line Trolley.

At Old Town, cross under the tracks to the platform for the Green Line Trolley

From either, take a Green Line Trolley towards Santee.  Exit the trolley at the Fashion Valley Transit Station.

From the Fashion Valley Transit Station, walk south (away from the mall), under the trolley tracks and cross the river on the bridge.  Directly across from the bridge is a walkway that leads directly to the hotel.

Metrolink and the Coaster

Metrolink (Greater L.A. and Inland Empire commuter rail services) trains on both the Orange County Line and the Inland Empire Orange County Line service the Oceanside Transit Center in northern San Diego County.  From there, you may change trains to the San Diego Coaster.  Take the Coaster to the Old Town Transit Center, cross under the tracks to the platform for the Green Line Trolley.
